Hi there! I hope all of you had a fantastic weekend!
And for dessert, I made one of hubby's favorites ~ Nuttela Cupcakes, in honor of Father's Day of course.
I have to admit that I'm starting to have some self-doubt and lack of motivation coming up to this half-marathon. But I think it really has more to do with physical fatigue. I am planning to rest 2 days before the race...hopefully, that'll let my body relax and my muscles heal.
I'm planning on focusing on a few things this week mainly:
Run without expectations - just focus on running your BEST!
Do you have any pre-race anxiety/stress? How do you deal with it?
- Good nutrition
- Using my foam roller pre and post-run
- Stretching out
- Icing if necessary
- Getting enough rest/sleep
- Prepare mentally
