Maui Adventures

There's lots to do in Maui. The first time we visited the island about 7 years ago, we stayed at the south shore of Maui (Wailea) and the family went on a helicopter ride, whale watching, snorkeling and boogie board'ing.

What did we do in Maui this time?

We did a whole lot of nothing. Don't get me wrong....I'm not complaining at all. It was sooo wonderful to get some R and R for the week and just enjoy the wonderful weather and scenery. We didn't have any plans so everyday after hubby got done with his meetings and lectures (usually around 12 noon)...we would ask each other, "So what do you wanna do?"

We explored the west part of Maui (Lahaina, Kaanapali, Kapalua and Honolua).

On this day, we went snorkeling....errr...make that one of us went snorkeling. I did a little bit but I get so freaked of the waves and think that it's gonna take me out into the ocean.

Hubby saw lots of different fishes, big and small, lots of colorful, tropical creatures (even turtles) under the sea. I was a bit jealous since I didn't get to see as many but honestly, I'm not a good swimmer  (eventhough, I know you just mostly float and hover).

Then at the end of the day, we walked along the beach and people-watched.
Gotta have the footprints in the sand shot.

Such enjoyable time with my best friend!
