Easy day

Happy Wednesday! Aaahh, 2 more days before a quick trip this weekend....
It was a nice day today in Spokaloo, highs in the 80's again....


...woke up and my legs felt like lead...just didn't feel like running today....but after a whole grain pancake breakfast with blueberries, I mustered up enough energy to go ahead and do it. Besides, I only had 5 miles to do today.
..wasn't too bad... 5 miles in 46:54 (best time for 5 miles for me). 
Got home and did 20 minutes of yoga....
...then made a Chocolate Cherry Smoothie afterwards....

Ingredients:
  • 1/1/2 cups Silk soy chocolate milk
  • 1 scoop vanilla Sun Warrior
  • 1/2 frozen banana
  • 1/4 cup frozen cherries
  • 1 Tablespoon Chia seeds
  • 1/4 filtered water and ice
...more practicing this afternoon for launch at gym this weekend. 
'talk to you later...gotta catch up on all my shows on the DVR, too...getting 75% full already!!!!

  1. I wish I had some cherries too because now I'm craving for a chocolate cherry protein smoothie! These things are just perfect after a run!

  3. ah launch time. So much fun, but the choreography! Your head just wants to explode :) Great job on the run. And if thats not the perfect post run snack, I'm not sure what is. Hope everything goes well!!

    I never used to use our Vita Mix---it was mostly my hubby's...but more and more I have grown to love it!
